Frank A. Roraff
Frank A. Roraff was born on October 30th, 1854 in Pazan Germany. At the age of 10, the Roraff family packed up their belongings and immigrated from Germany to America. After a rocky, eventful, and 3 month long journey to America, the family chose to settle in Chicago for a short time before moving to Hokah, Minnesota.
After relocating to Hokah from Chicago, Frank met and married Augusta Lanz. The couple would eventually move to La Crosse, Wisconsin, in 1886 where Frank built their family home at 1539 Denton Street, and the couple raised six children.
Roraff worked as a Carpenter for the E. Hackner Company from 1900 to 1903, though he continued working as a Carpenter independent from the company until he retired.
There were many members of the Roraff family who worked for the E. Hackner Co. in various positions alongside Frank. Roraff was amongst the earliest to work for the company.
